Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Vital View AI Pvt. Ltd. ("VitalView AI", "we", "us") handles information when a hospital or clinic uses our emergency CT screening platform. VitalView AI is a business-to-business product. We work for the hospital, and the hospital remains the custodian of its patients and their records.
1. Who we serve
Our customers are hospitals and diagnostic centres. We do not market to, or knowingly collect information directly from, patients or the general public. Any patient imaging we process reaches us only through a hospital that has engaged us under a written agreement.
2. Information we process
We process two broad categories of information:
Patient imaging and study data. When connected to a hospital's PACS or DICOM environment, we receive CT studies and the associated study metadata needed to produce a first-read draft. We process this on the hospital's instruction and only to deliver the service.
Account and contact data. For staff who use or administer the platform, we hold names, work email addresses, role information, and basic usage logs needed to run and secure the service.
3. How we use information
We use patient imaging only to screen the study and prepare a structured draft report for a qualified clinician to review and sign. We use account and usage data to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. We do not sell patient data, and we do not use patient imaging for advertising.
4. The clinician stays in control
VitalView AI produces preliminary draft reports for qualified clinicians. They are not intended for standalone or autonomous diagnostic use. Every report is reviewed and signed by a clinician who remains responsible for the final decision.
5. Security
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of medical imaging, including access controls, encryption in transit, audit logging, and deployment options that keep data within the hospital environment where required. Access to patient data is limited to personnel who need it to deliver the service.
6. Sharing and processors
We share information only with service providers who help us run the platform, under contracts that require them to protect it, and where the law requires disclosure. We do not share patient data with third parties for their own purposes.
7. Retention
We retain patient imaging only as long as needed to deliver the service and to meet the hospital's instructions and applicable record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or returned. Account and usage data is kept for the life of the engagement and a reasonable period thereafter.
8. Your rights
Patients who wish to access, correct, or delete their records should contact the hospital that holds them, as the hospital is the custodian of that data. We support our hospital customers in responding to such requests. Platform users with account questions can reach us using the contact details below.
9. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India and is intended to operate alongside applicable data protection and health information regulations.
